Levon Helm, Sun Records alum, recently presented Folk Alliance's Best Traditional Folk Artist award at his Ramble live performance Sat., March 29th.

Kim & I recently attended Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble in Woodstock, NY last Sat., March 29th & he was presented w/ the Folk Alliance's Best Traditional Folk Artist award.  Helm joined forces w/ another Sun Records alum, Ronnie Hawkins, in the early '60s & then joined forces w/ four Canadians to form The Band after a stint w/ Dob Dylan.  Helm also recently became a grandfather to his daughter's (Amy) grandson, also named Levon.
