Cash Immortalized by US Postal Service
Johnny Cash has been memorialized by the United States Postal Service. The country legend is the first artist featured in the USPS “Music Icons” stamp series. The Cash stamp features a stunning photograph taken by Frank Bez, originally used for 1963’s Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash.
The unveiling ceremony was held at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Family, friends and fans all joined to celebrate Cash’s impactful legacy. Performers including John Carter Cash, Randy Travis, Marty Stuart, The Oak Ridge Boys and more paid tribute to the legend by performing some of his hits and favorite songs.
You can purchase the Cash stamps on the USPS website, or visit your local branch to find an exclusive Johnny Cash compilation in either CD or digital download format.
